About Notebook

The “Horsepower Notebook” is essentially a network of Chris Irwin websites on which you can have your own website.  You can personalize it with content you find interesting, use it to organize your training or personal agenda, keep friends, family, customers, etc. updated on your life or business pursuits!  If you don’t already have a website, the Notebook feature of your membership offers an easy way to “go public” with your very own site! If you do have a website – perhaps a Notebook site can be a simple way to drive network users to your other site.

Built on a WordPress platform, your notebook website can be customized with free or premium plugins through your own admin panel.  We’ve configured this sample site to give you an idea of the possibilities.  The WordPress platform is comprehensive and intuitive, requiring a short learning curve, and offering endless possibilities.  Our friends at EMG provide the high-speed server from which your content is safe, secure, backed up and served! And EMG has included a series of instructional videos on WordPress how-to basics.  So here’s your chance to have that site you’ve always wanted, or have a second personal site just for yourself and your horse-related interests!

We’ve incorporated some useful functionality like a Calendar and Email Reminders, Social Toolbar and just for fun – quotes for women and from men about women.  Guys – we’ll customize your site with something a bit more entertaining for you – but let’s face it…the horse industry is female-driven!  More importantly, your Webmaster is a gal! LOL

Your Notebook site will be part of the HorsepowerNotebook.com network, with a URL address like “yourname.horsepowernotebook.com” whereas “yourname” can be anything you want! You can also control the “privacy” of your notebook site – choosing to make it available to all, to only those who are registered users of Horsepowernotebook.com, those you register on your site only, etc. So email the Webmaster to activate your free new Notebook website…just for the fun of it!
